Hosted by United Tribes Technical College\u2019s Intertribal Research & Resource Center, the 12th Annual Tribal College Research Symposium will be held April 22-23 at the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum in Bismarck, North Dakota. The conference will include a poster session featuring student research, a keynote address, and oral presentation breakout sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attracting over 100 participants from more than a dozen tribal and Native-serving colleges and universities, the event also provides opportunities for networking and community building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students and faculty from TCUP-eligible institutions are encouraged to attend and present. Please follow this link<\/a> to register. Abstracts should be submitted as Word documents and emailed to ebiggane@uttc.edu<\/a>. The registration and abstract submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. CST on April 1<\/strong>. Late registrations will not be accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UTTC will cover hotel accommodations at the La Quinta Inn & Suites (2240 N 12th St, Bismarck, ND 58501) for April 22 and April 23, if needed. Please call the hotel directly before April 1 to reserve rooms (hotel phone number and reservation group name provided below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stipends will be provided to students presenting their research in the form of a poster or talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The block of hotel rooms will be released on April 1, after which UTTC will no longer cover the cost of accommodations. Please note that if you choose to stay at an alternative hotel, UTTC will not cover your hotel accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel assistance can be provided on an as-needed basis. Please reach out to Emily Biggane for more information. Requests for travel must be received by March 18, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
